In today's day is celebrated the Day of the Volunteer Firefighter recalling the initiative that had Thomas Liberti, Boca neighbor and Italian immigrant, that the June 2, 1884 created the Volunteer Firefighters of Boca, with the slogan "want is power" . This date is taken as a reference to celebrate nationwide "Day of the Volunteer Firefighter" .
