Singapore In The 1970s

Today, July 22, is commemorated in Latin America on Labor Day Home

Close your eyes and imagine a day that no one tends the beds at home, nobody will prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner, not asearan dining room, kitchen or bathroom. Have you envisioned? Well, this is called the invisible work, work that when is not obvious and done, goes unnoticed. Perhaps
so that domestic work is one of the least protected, despite the importance of maintaining at home and care order, in many cases, the most valuable thing we have in life, our children.
These activities, in most cases undertaken by women, requires skills, experience and sense of responsibility that are generally not recognized as they deserve, not to mention the essential role for the proper functioning of societies and economies support.
Thus, although on this day may not have much to celebrate, the establishment of that can attract attention to the historical debt we have with these workers, and that is why from Block Independent Radical salute all the workers of the home on this special day, reaffirming and supporting the daily struggle to maintain position its work in its rightful place.
