Draft Resolution - Incorporation of the ecology in the curriculum dictated agrotechnical schools

ago about twelve thousand years ago, when man began to implement agriculture as a livelihood, there were no fertilizers, pesticides, transgenic seeds or machinery, only organic fertilizers were used and the methods used to produce were friendly to the environment.
Today, from the numerous technological advances, industrial agriculture (which we now call conventional) allows large-scale food to feed a growing world population. However, this system generates a high natural resource degradation , often causing irreversible damage.
is why we see today in modern societies, a strong trend toward finding alternatives aimed at improving environmental quality through a rational use of natural resources .
has emerged in this context the concept of "Organic Farming" that promotes agricultural production supported by the conservation of natural resources elementary, such as soil, water and biodiversity.
The Farming promises to be highly productive and sustainable turn in production and environmental conservation in the long run, solving the food supply for the population. To address this challenge, currently being developed science "Agroecology" , which is defined as the application of concepts and principles ecological design and sustainable agroecosystem management, and involves the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices in technical and scientific knowledge of ecological, agronomic, social and occur for production.
Thus, through a draft resolution , the Deputy Provincial Silvia A. Petitti, has asked the Executive Branch the incorporation of curricular space "Agroecology" in specific technical training of agro-technical schools in our province.
This project aims to educate students about an alternative productive that includes not only economic benefits but also comprehensive and sustainable protection of environmental resources and human health, with the future specialists in agricultural production channel for disseminating the productive application of this mechanism.
Generally, in these educational establishments, only dictate the contents of the current production system, ie agriculture "tillage" or "zero tillage" , let alone a model that several years ago , is growing and emerging as an economically and environmentally viable alternative, such as the Farming .
Among the main objectives of this system can include obtaining an efficient and profitable production with emphasis on improved management techniques and soil conservation, water, energy and biological resources, reduction of emerging environmental fluctuations or market , reducing the rate of degradation of renewable natural resources, increasing biodiversity in production systems, the efficient use of energy, the use of natural processes and the elimination of the effects on health of both farmers consumers, among others.
For all the foregoing that the "Agroecology" is presented as a promising alternative, offering an agriculture that allows maintain decent lifestyles and sustainable environmental rur al.
In this way we are working within the Independent Radical Block looking protect and preserve the environment, consistent with the care and protection of the health of the inhabitants of the province .
