A 190 years of the death of Manuel Belgrano , creator and one of the architects of independence, is celebrated today Flag Day. Argentina

On June 8, 1938, with the approval of Congress, then President of the Nation, Robert M. Ortiz, signed into law 12 361, available June 20 as Flag Day and national holiday in honor of Manuel Belgrano, who died on June 20, 1820.
